UE4 Lighting Practice/Test - Sequencer - WIP

General / 11 August 2020

The next choice has been "Sequencer" which seems really didactic to get the hang of shot managing and editing.

Again, I will try a "Relight" and see if I can make the sequence work from start to end. Almost done with the "clean up" process and started to block a few lights in the set and characters.

Let's see want I can learn from this :].

This one is a lot of fun. When does a lighter have the opportunity to light a whole finished sequence? Never has happened to me at least :]. After messing around a bit trying to get a solid result between the different cameras before starting detailed lighting for some shots. It might take more than expected... but I am happy with the results so far. The overall workflow is heaven for any sequence/master lighting artist.

Some HR screens from yesterday's WIP.

Finally finished a bit frustrated with this one. I could not manage to get sequencer animation parameters to "play" properly during gameplay/render. And have to simplify a lot the lighting, still having issues during gameplay, what took me too long to render all together and finally lost plenty of the initial lighting and mood...  In any case, as usual, it is time to keep going even if not crazy with the "final" results. Might worth revisiting at some point when I know better what I am doing.
